I volunteer regularly at a dog rescue centre, where I help with various tasks such as dog walking and providing hygienic care for medium to large-sized dogs. I am comfortable handling untrained dogs and ensuring their well-being in challenging situations.
I also have a poodle named Dovy, who is now 11 years old. Since I adopted her, I’ve been responsible for all her hygienic care. This includes ear epilation, anal gland expression, shaving the hair on her paws, brushing her teeth, and clipping her nails.
Dovy is quite sensitive around other dogs, but I’ve learned how to calm her down and manage interactions to avoid conflicts.
I want to become a pet sitter because I have a genuine love for animals and enjoy taking care of them. Having experience volunteering at dog rescue centre and taking care of my own dog, I have devloped the skills and patience needed to ensure pets are happy, healthy and well cared for.
Pet sitting allows me to combine my passion for animal care with the opportunity to help oyhers by e,surjng their pets are looked after in a safe and locing environment.
