I'm 29 years old, work part time in Burnaby and for the Canucks Autism Network and I've had the pleasure of growing up with pets in my home for most of my life. We've had fish including freshwater lobsters, budgies and finches, high-energy cats and cats that just wanted to snuggle, large dogs with lots of energy and a small old dog with high anxiety and aches and pains that we had to medicate her for as she got older, and a Created Gecko.
I've always loved animals, and being around them makes me very happy. I've done pet-sitting for friends many times in the past. I've done: indoor/outdoor cats, just indoor cats, small dogs with lots of anxiety that require a lot of attention, and a large dog that loves to snuggle. I feel that it is the perfect job for me, as animals are my happy place.
The only pets that I know I'm not comfortable with are snakes, but any other pet, young or old, excited or anxious, high or low energy, even if they need a little extra help, animals are my happy place and I look forward to helping you with yours.
I volunteer, play sports, and work 3 days a week, but for the most part, I am at home and if I commit to your pet that will be my first priority.

Kayla is a sweet person and she did a wonderful job cat and house sitting for us for two weeks. My two older cats were very comfortable with her and I greatly appreciated her regular messages with photos. She’s a gem.
Kayla went over and above to make sure our persnickety cats felt loved. We will definitely use her again! Love the pics and the updates!
