Hello! Woof! Dog running is the new dog walking! I'm an ultra runner who has really come to enjoy running with dogs. I run with my own Weim, and since I run more often distance than my dog needs, I am looking for other dogs to keep me company. I usually run in Mount Royal and around the other parks. When dog sitting, I prefer one-on-one care and avoid the dog parks. Dog running is especially good for high energy dogs as well as for those whose owners have full-time jobs and lack the time and energy to give their furry pals the amount of exercise they need to stay healthy and happy.

Dog running is also the smarter option because most dogs prefer running over walking. Running also helps them spend their energy in a much shorter time. It helps with concentration, strength, and keeps your dog's heart healthy! One-on-one dog running is the safest way to give your dog the care he or she needs. They will experience something far more rewarding than running in circles around a dog park. It also gives them an opportunity to explore different environments. This is also the best option for the cold months because dog parks become lonely places and even your dog is probably less inclined to walk outdoors because of the cold.

After just 1-2 weeks, you will begin to notice your dog's increased obedience and concentration levels and ability to relax.

During winter months, please make sure you have boots to protect your pet's paws from the salt! If your dog is shorthaired, you may also consider getting him/her a jacket or windbreaker. I can't wait to run with your dog!
