Hi and welcome to my profile! I'm a degenerate dog lover who is perpetually offering to watch my friend's dogs, and can't get enough of them. I had a husky for 16 years who led a very happy life, and I have been dog-sitting for friends and family all my life. I recently fostered a sweet boy named Leonard for a year, and was heart broken to see him leave but found an amazing family for him. While he was in my care, he lost 20lbs of unnecessary weight, learned boundaries and how to walk on leash.
I have extensive experience caring for animals, and every pet I've owned has lived and loved for way longer than your average pet. 3 cats who lived to 21, 19, and 18, and as I mentioned, my husky was in perfect shape for 16 years until cancer took her. I currently live with a formerly homeless cat. We found each other in a park and she is used to dogs being around. Please be sure your dog is cool with cats.
I work from home, so I will be with your dog for their entire stay. I live in 1000sqft, next to a big dog park, and close to the canal and parks, so adventures and fun are a short walk away. If I visit friends while sitting, your dog comes with me to meet new people and smell new things. Your dog's social life will expand with me and our adventures will be many, with your permission, of course!

I take your pet's care very serisouly, and my goal is to make your time apart as painless, fun, and worry free as possible. Your instructions will be heard clearly, executed with care, and daily updates will be provided with pics. Does your dog require anything special? Let me know and they'll get it. Lance is even better than what our family could have imagined. He took care of our Lab like a pro. He's gifted, generous, and kind. Our dog loved him from the first visit, and probably still misses him today. 😀 He took great care of our dog, who had its own specific challenges. He adjusted to some of his needs. Our dog had numerous long walks and participated in some extra activities. He even bought him additional toys, etc. A great experience! Lance is very quick to respond. We recommend him strongly to anyone. He's worth the extra cost.
Lance est encore meilleur que ce que notre famille aurait pu imaginer. Il a pris soin de notre labrador comme un pro. Il est doué, généreux et gentil. Notre chien l'a adoré dès la première visite et il lui manque probablement encore aujourd'hui. 😀 Il a pris grand soin de notre chien même si celui-ci avait ses propres défis. Il s'est adapté à certains de ses besoins. Notre chien a fait de nombreuses longues promenades et a participé à certaines activités en extra. Il lui a acheté des jouets supplémentaires, etc. Une expérience formidable ! Lance répond très rapidement. Nous le recommandons vivement à tout le monde. Il vaut le coût supplémentaire.
