Felicity

I have loved animals as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Lakeland Terrier and multiple cats. Currently, my cat Misty is the love of my life. I spend a good chunk of my day playing with her and she is frequently at my desk working diligently as my assistant. I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the SPCA when I lived in Ottawa, Ontario. I loved getting to know different dogs and avidly followed the SPCA Facebook page, so I would know when dogs got adopted.

I respond quickly to messages and have a high attention to detail.

I work Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. from home. So, if your pet is staying with me, they will get lots of attention and quality time. It's also easy for me to bring my work with me for house sitting.

For home visits or dog walking, I am available in the morning or evening or on my lunch break if you live close by. So, I am potentially available for 2-3 dog walks/home visits per day depending on your location. I'm happy to also collect your mail and water plants. I can talk your dog on their favourite walk. In the mornings or evenings, I'm available for longer walks and on my lunch hour, I'm available for 30 minutes.

For daycare or a homestay, your pet will be welcome in my one bedroom apartment. I share the space with my husband Andrew who is also an animal lover. He is training to be an RMT and loves to give pets massages. I am able to take one extra cat and/or one small dog at a time. I would be happy to bring your pet's favourite bed into my apartment. For cats, there is lots of room on our cat tree and I'll ensure Misty learns to share.

I have experience administering oral medication to cats.

I would appreciate proof of vaccination for any pets staying in my home.
