We love living life on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, but are longtime dog lovers and sitters through Pawshake for a couple of years in our previous community of Port Coquitlam.

We have a large fully fenced property for furry friends to roam (3/4 of an acre!) and are walking distance to the beach and trails.

I am an avid dog lover, who has been around dogs since I was young. As a teenager, I was unable to have a dog, so I volunteered my time at PADS. (PADS is a wonderful organization that trains assistance dogs).

 "Pender" we rescued from an adoption rescue in Calgary back in August 2015. She has quickly become a spunky, sweet and loyal addition to our family. Her happy go lucky attitude makes her easy to get along with and she is friendly and fun! Mostly she likes long naps in the sun, and proximity to others.

"Austin" is a double rescue, originally adopted by a family in poco from Texas, but they didn't have dog experience and her young puppy heart and curiousity was too stressful for their 26lb cat, whom their family adored. Austin is now well adjusted to life on the coast - loves people, dogs, hikes, swimming, etc. Austin is currently just shy of 3 years old.

Being a pet sitter is great for my pups, as they love to make friends - and I know how difficult it can be to plan some much needed vacation time - and struggle to find quality care for my dogs. For these reasons, I really enjoy being a pet sitter!
