Well, she's now residing right here in Ottawa!

Hello, my name is Jaimi-Leigh and I'm hoping to assist with any cat/bunny care in my local community of Little Italy/Hintonburg/Centretown West.

By day, I am a school counsellor, by night I become your cat sitter!

Friends joke and say I resemble Snow White, befriending every animal in my path. I believe animals,especially cats, provide a unique spiritual connection.

My experience with animals started at a young age. From helping my family Persian cats during kitten birth as a child, to assisting my mom in nursing a lorikeet bird back to health after injury in a wild tropic storm, I was always there.

I was a foster mom for BC SPCA back in Vancouver for 2 years. I fostered mainly cats and some small bunnies. One cat even became a foster fail! I'm now a proud mom to Wally, who I currently co-parent with an ex partner.

I feel it's in my nature to care and tend to the animals in my life and in my community. Unfortunately, I can not cat sit in my home, but I can service anywhere in Ottawa, but would prefer to stick within my community.

I am comfortable sitting all cats and bunnies unvaccinated/vaccinated, unneutered and with reserved or anxious personalities. I am extremely experienced with cats with medical needs or who take medications.
