Trained Pet-Care Professional

As an experienced and trained professional in the pet care industry, rest assured your loved one(s) will be safe and happy with me. I’ve worked as a dog walker, animal trainer, and pet boarding specialist for nearly 10 years. I am certified in Pet First Aid (currently with Udemy), I’m a non-drinker + non-smoker, and have a clean criminal record. Whether it’s a puppy, or a rescue, I’m comfortable and equipped with the tools and skill-set to best care for them. When I was 8 years old, I memorized 101 dog breeds, including their common characteristics and how to groom them. I then began walking my neighbours dogs, and their family and friends’ dogs. I also have experience with caring for birds, cats and rabbits. Since then, I’ve worked part-time and full-time in this field and love every minute of it. I hope to be of service to you and your loved one(s) someday soon.

I’m available for dog-walking or home visits for any kind of pet mornings and evenings, weekdays and weekends.

I live in a large and secure house, with a fully fenced in and beautiful backyard. I have two dogs of my own, who are socialized and trained, happy-go-lucky pups. One of them is actually a Service Dog. Your loved one(s) will be made a part of our structured daily routine, and be welcomed into our family with the most unconditional love and careful attention.

Typical Day, When Ivanna Watches Your Pet:

5:00am: Wake up and snuggle! Play-Time begins. 
6:00am: Breakfast. 
7:00am: Secure On-Leash Walk around the Junction Neighbourhood.
8:00am: Nap-Time / Relaxation.

11:00am: Treat-Time & more Play-Time. Enrichment games like puzzles, kongs, and lick-mats. 
12:00pm: Nap-Time / Relaxation. 
1:00pm: Secure On-Leash walk through High Park, or down by the beach. 
2:00pm: Secure On-Leash Socialization at High Park Dog Park. 

5:00pm: Dinner Time.
6:00pm: Secure Outdoor Potty Break.
7:00pm: Cuddle-Time and Wind-Down. 
8:00pm: Bed-Time.

• Do they have recall training? Can they safely be around other dogs, new people, children, or any other animals?
• How do they walk on-leash? Any On-Leash &/or Off-Leash Requirements &/or Restrictions?

• Any specific behaviour traits, preferences or dislikes that will help me best care for them?
