Hello, welcome to my profile :)

My name is Camille, I am from Ottawa and I currently live near Britannia Beach. I work from home as a translator for the federal government Monday to Friday and on the weekends I like to go for walks along the river, hang out with friends and sometimes do arts & crafts. I have been pet-sitting for 5 years already! I first started using Pawshake in Berlin, where I lived for a few years before Covid started. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, but I am looking to adopt a cat and a small dog in the next few months. I used to have a beautiful husky/german sheperd and 2 cats (including the black one in my photo). I also took horseback riding lessons and I love going around the city to find spots where I can feed certain birds and squirrels (with natural food only, of course!). I have travelled all the way to South Africa and Zimbabwe to go on safaris, where I saw all kinds of wild animals in their natural habitats. All this to say: I love all animals, from horses to birds to fish to dogs and cats! Because of my schedule I am currently limiting my home visits to cats and small pets, and I have a car in case of emergency. When I visit it’s always for at least 1 hour, and I’m available to visit once a day. I usually hang out with the pet(s), give them food and fresh water (and medication if needed), clean the litter box, play with them, and take photos of them to send to you while you’re away.
