Hello! My name Amber. I have a passion for animals and caring for them. I find great joy in caring for furry, feathery and swimming companions. However, I do not work with snakes.

One of my most rewarding experiences has been raising and training Leo, a sweet Havanese dog, as a service animal. I began working with Leo when he was just six weeks old in 2017, and together we accomplished five incredible years of learning and companionship until 2022. Through patience, positive reinforcement, and lots of cuddles, Leo developed into a calm, attentive, and loving helper—a journey that taught me so much about dedication and the unique personalities of our pets.

I live in a quiet, calm, and inviting home right in downtown Victoria, BC. It’s a wonderful space where pets can unwind and feel at ease. Daily walks are a staple in my routine—rain or shine, I make sure we get fresh air and exercise, exploring nearby parks and scenic neighbourhoods.

My experience extends beyond home care: I’ve had the opportunity to work with veterinary clinics in Canada, Mexico and Nicaragua. These roles have enriched my understanding of animal health and behaviour. My professional background as a first responder (paramedic) means I’m equipped to handle any situation calmly, efficiently, and with your pet’s wellbeing as my top priority.
