Hi guys,
I'm Chrissy, 22 years old and from Germany.(fluent in english, german and spanish) Because I'm doing an internship at a preschool I will be living in Victoria for the next 11 months. In my spare time I love to be outside and go for a hike or work in the garden/ on a farm. I really miss my dog and my two cats back in Germany..that's why I would love to walk dogs or do some petsitting.
I grew up with a dutch sheepdog as well as with several cats and rabbits. For the last three years I've had Mali, a female Cockapoo and two cats (Mira and Sian). I attended multiple dog training and socializing courses with her e.g. dog dance. I taught her many tricks.
I am studying to become a teacher in english and educational/ psychological studies. Therefore I've always been interested in how dogs learn and how you can shape their behavior. Training dogs is classical and operant conditioning at its best. But it's not just that..I've always felt strongly connected to animals, especially to dogs.
I know giving your pet away isn't easy and a trustworthy relationship to the petsitter is essential.So if you are interested in my person contact me and we can find out if you and I and your pet will get along.

Chrissy is wonderful! Our cats took a liking to her instantly and one of them is a very fearful of strangers normally; he’s a tough customer. She agreed to come visit us twice before our trip to get to know everything about the cats and our home and family. I found that extra time to be very valuable. By the time we left on our trip it felt like she was family. We had complete peace of mind and were able to leave and enjoy our time away and it was all because of her. When we arrived back home it was as if our cats hadn’t missed us at all. Chrissy is very mature for her age and extremely responsible. We trust her 100%. She is open and honest and down to earth. It’s very clear that she loves animals. It was a real pleasure getting to know her and we look forward to having her again soon. I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone.
