I have lived almost my whole life with pets! Cats, dogs, hamsters, frogs, fish and birds. I truly feel enjoyment and connection with animals; and yes, I am the kind of person who sees the dog first and then their human! I foster cats through the SPCA and have cared for injured animals and those recovering from surgery. It's not fun for the little guys, but I find cats, and dogs specifically, have resilience and charm when they are on the mend.

I have pet sit for many friends, family and connections over the years and have long-term fostered for cats for the SPCA and acquaintances. I have found all animals have unique personalities, so try to cater to their needs. I completed my Degree in Ecology recently (with the associated debt that comes along with it) - and, unfortunately, due to COVID, I am perpetually in the process of starting my career. Though I would love to have a permanent fuzzy companion, unfortunately, this is just not in the cards

for me yet!

So I look forward to keeping your kitties and puppies company as they miss you terribly while you are away! You will be missed - but I guarantee they will be loved and well cared for in your absence! I am always available by phone when you are away and if you would like an occasional text/pic from your beloved furry friends this will be done! My services include home visits to your pets to feed, cuddle, clean up after them and walkies when required - time at your house will be no less than 30min often much longer. House/pet sitting is also available and subject to COVID restrictions - I will generally bring my 'regular' work to your home and generally just live/work at your home while you are away - so my days will exclusively be spent with your furry loved ones. I will be wearing a mask to meet you at your home. I am available as per my calendar schedule - so please reach out if you need some help and if I can not accommodate your request I will try to find another Pawshake sitter who can.
