Taking care of animals is my passion of life. I grew up around animals and pets like dogs, cats, fish, birds, in our family. I moved to Vancouver in 2023, I was living in Netherlands before moved to Calgary in. Wherever I lived I did pet sitting and volunteer in animal shelters, I would like to continue this best rewarding service as long as I can.

I have a Maltese dog, he is friendly and loves other dog's company. Dogs in my house are almost never left alone (max 2 hr alone if really unavoidable). Most of the time I only accept one guest pet, to make sure she/he can get sufficient care and attention they need without sharing with others. But these is not a strict conditions, all depends on how they get allong with others and on their characters.

I work at home most of the time as freelance architect. Whenever I go out, I always take the dog(s) with me. I can give every pets in my house all of attention and care they need. I live in a condo with only a walking distance to many parks, river and off leash areas. I walk daily 3 times for about an hour each and play with them indoor when the weather is not so friendly outside. They will have enough exercise for their body and their emotional need. Apart from my daily walk, I often go hiking in where my dog(s) also can experience some variety of scenery, smell, etc in new places.

At home, the pets are free around the house, they can choose their own comfortable place. My place is a dog proof house, I keep it tidy and clean so they won't mistakenly eat/touch any hazardous stuff.

I can apply the rule, habit and conditions that the owners prefer for their pets. My dog likes to sleep on bed in my bedroom, watch TV on the sofa, etc. If your pets is allowed and like it too they can join in without any problem. For now I cannot accept big dogs because of the building's pet policy. 

My dog doesn't get along with cats, so I can only offer to visit the cats or I stay in the owner's house instead of boarding in my place.
