Hi everyone!
I'm Helene and together with my husband, we recently moved to Vancouver from Belgium. Seeing as I am currently not working full time, this gives me a lot of flexibility to walk dogs or take care of your cats during the week and even possible housesitting during the weekend
I love animals and used to have a dog and 2 cats when I was a kid. It was such a pleasure to see them playing together but it did resulted in a busy and lively house ^^ Ever since they passed away I've missed the love and joy that a pet brings. To compensate for that missing, I would often take dogs from the local shelter for walks on weekends.
I am currently living in an apartment, and am looking to adopt a puppy soon <3 Therefore day care would not be possible. But I would love to go on daily walks with your dog or take care of your dog/cat in its own environment when you want to go on a holiday!
We live in the heart of Yaletown but there are lots of beautiful parks around. I would love to take your dog for a 30, 60 or even a 90 min walk alongside the water, trough the parks or even into Stanley park. Gotta get those 10.000 steps!
Please inform me if your dog has any specific dog needs or special requests for the walk, a history of biting/ violence and any bad habits to look out for (eg eating dirt) and his/her favorite toys or treats or allergies. I'm also happy to work on specifc commands that he/she is learning.
Normal walks and drop ins are 30 minutes but more time is always negotiable.
I speak English, Dutch and some French
I am fully vaccinated btw ;)

We met Helene for a meet-and-greet before a night away with our dog, Tilly. They went for a walk to get acquainted. Helene showed up on time and we felt very comfortable with her visiting our home to care for our dog. Will book again!
