Hi, my name is Lucia. I am 23 years old and I recently just graduated from the university--which means that I have a lot of time on my hands. While I am looking for a job, I would like to help you take care of your pets when you are busy.

CATS: I have cat-sat for a couple of people in the past few years so I have a lot of experience reading cats' body language and respecting their personal space so they don't feel scared by a complete stranger. Currently, I am unable to board any cats because I am fostering cats at my place! However, I can still go to your house to check on your cats, play with them, or just sit with them so they don’t feel alone. I don't have a limit for the number of cats I can care for at once.

DOGS: Growing up, my uncle has kept large dogs like mastiffs, central Asian shepherd dogs, etc. I am familiar with large dogs' needs and I try my best to provide plenty of exercises and stimulation for them. In the past year and a half, I've had the opportunity to co-parent a lovely Westie with my roommate, so I have some long-term caretaking experiences when it comes to smaller dogs too. I can take care of up to 3 dogs at once and no size or age restrictions.

I have a pretty flexible schedule - I am available from 9 am to 9 pm every day. For home visits, I will feed your pets, check on their water, clean the litter boxes/take them out to potty, and play with them and keep them company in general. I will stay in the house for at least 30mins to 1hr, or longer if it’s required. I can also check your mail, take out the trash, or water your plants for you. Any mess made by your pet(s) will be cleaned up before I leave. For dog walks, I will make sure I take your dogs on interesting routes/trails, or a quiet neighbourhood if your dog is shyer. Your dogs will be on a leash at all times except for in dog parks or other designated off-leash areas, and they will have access to water as well. If the weather is too extreme, we can figure out alternative forms of physical exercise so your dog(s) can still get the activities they need. The lengths of these walks will depend on your dog’s age, size, and energy level and I will follow the amount of time set by you.

Right now I don't offer pet boarding or daycare services because of the foster cats I have.
