Hello!

My name is Cassandra! I have been working with animals for over 11 years - and loving them for 28! Growing up in my family home we always had cats - at one point we had four kitties running the house! I have a long line of pet experience beginning with the fact that I love all animals. I always seem to gravitate towards working with them. My very first job was working at a boarding kennel where despite the incredible mess that dozens of dogs can make, I still loved them all just the same. Upon moving to Toronto to study Fine Arts Photography at Ryerson University, I landed a job at a dog spa where I started out as a dog bather. After some time, I became a key holder and worked the front. I have gained so much knowledge on pet health and nutrition from this position. After graduation I spent 5 years with a dog walking company in the West End. I adored this job and I can think of no better way to fill my spare time these days than taking care of more pets! I have two dogs of my own - Kezia who is a lab/shepherd/collie and Teya who we believe to be a spitz mix!

As for the services I offer, whether it be for cat, dog or other, I focus on getting to know your pet so I can tailor the service to fit their needs. At this time I am offering in home visits and dog walking services.

In home visits are 30 minutes long. For cats, on each visit I will freshen food & water, scoop the litter box and keep things tidy (don't forget to leave out the cleaning supplies!). If the booking is longer than a week, I will turn over the whole litter box. After that, I spend some quality time with your feline(s) to their comfort level. Shy kitty? I'll sit around and read aloud so they get used to my presence. Playful kitty? Game on. I'll take daily photos and a quick update on how things are going! Visits can be in the morning and/or evening. Puppy visits or senior dog visits work the same (minus the litter box!). We can sit outside, play inside, or just enjoy each other's company.

Dog walking services are also 30 minutes long. They are available on morning, evenings and weekends. I have a pooch of my own that can join if both parties are comfortable, and if not, no problem! The walk will be tailored to your dogs abilities and likes. Slow walks with lots of sniffing? Sound good to me. High energy pup? Let's do some doggy parkour. Dog(s) will remain on a leash at all times, no off-leash park visits.
