Welcome to my profile! Career-wise, I am a substitute teacher on the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. Aside from teaching, I volunteer one day a week at an elementary school in Stittsville. At home, I have a beautiful long-haired cat named Louie. My fiancé and I adopted him from the SPCA in 2015. I am what some people may refer to as a "crazy cat mom!” I also have a dog named Charlie but he is back in New Brunswick currently living with my parents. I have always considered myself to be an animal person, I believe they bring so much joy and love into a person's life. I am very kind and gentle when it comes to interacting with all animals. Take my cat Louie for instance, he is very shy and takes some time warming up to new people, so I remind everyone to be patient with him. When meeting a new animal I will often allow the animal to greet me first and I will proceed at their pace. Regarding medicine, I have administered oral medication to my cat on many different occasions and I am comfortable with this as long as I am provided with all of the information up front. I look forward to meeting you & your furry family member(s)! Please send me a message and we can get to know one another.
Kathleen was reliable, attentive, and very caring to my diabetic cat. Although I was a bit worried at first as she does not have formal training on providing insulin, she was eager to learn and trainable. She also took care of the litter box and helped vacuum around the mess that my cat made, which is well appreciated. Very fast communication by either texting or via Pawshake. Would highly recommend her service! Thank you!
Kathleen was great and would definitely use her again. She was very loving and caring towards our high needs cat.
nothing but praise for Kathleen.
