I am Nicole, a 30-ish year old woman who loves the outdoors, reading, and lounging in the sun like a cat. I'm a social person and find that animals fill the social need in my personality - especially during lockdowns. I take extra care when it comes to your pets, and often people notice that I gain an animals' trust easily because of my calm yet nurturing nature.

I absolutely love caring for pets and would be happy to look after yours while you are away. Your fur-child will be in great care with me. I currently volunteer 2-3x a week at ARF, an animal rescue foundation, where I work with mostly large adult dogs and puppies of various breeds. I assist with feeding the animals, bathing, cleaning kennels and bathroom areas, supervising outdoor play, and light training. At ARF, I also volunteer with the cats that have various degrees of personalities and human interaction. Many of the cats are feral and I work to gain their trust, clean litterboxes, cat beds and living areas, feeding, and provide medication if required.

Overall, making an animal happy, working on good behaviour, and having the needs of the animal met are the goals I work towards when dealing with animals under ARF's care. This position has been incredibly rewarding and it has become a slight addiction :) I often have a flexible schedule as I am self-employed. For in-house animal sitting, I provide:

- 1 or 2 visits a day (40 - 60 mins each)

- General animal care such as cleaning, socializing, and feeding

- Dog walking (20 mins+ depending on breed, health, age, and weather)

- Cat brushing if needed

- Administering medication if needed

- Providing owner with updates at every visit

* I prefer 1-2 animal homes, but if you have multiple pets I would be happy to work something out. Please reach out for details.*

For House Sitting, I provide:

- Pet care as listed above (cats and dogs only)

- Plant care if needed

- A home that is as clean as you left it.

- Daily updates to owners

In turn, you must provide:

- A clean and comfortable guest bedroom for me to stay

- A clean home in all common areas

- Instructions for anything within your home I may need to know (security alarms, emergency numbers, plant watering details, etc)

- Wifi and Netflix password ;)
