I have recently retired from the Okanagan and moved to Vancouver Island. I have owned my own home(s) over a period of 45 years.
I've worked in the Hospitality sector managing Vacation Resorts, Apartment Buildings; greeted guests at hotels and attractions (Crown Mansion Boutique Hotel/Milner Gardens in Qualicum Beach). I have volunteered for Tourism Parksville for 2 years; have a pretty good idea of the variety of areas and attractions on the Island and what the Island has to offer in general. Exploring Vancouver Island is a side benefit to Pet/House sitting.

In the Okanagan, I have pet sat for friends in their homes; in Parksville, I walked my neighbors dog daily. More recently, I joined TrustedHousesitters, where I gained a 5 Star Pet Sitter rating after caring for more than 9 families of cats and dogs over a 9 month period of time. 

I am adventurous and would entertain the idea of caring for ducks, chickens, goats .... just ask me!!

I like to read, walk/hike, cycle, kayak, garden, cook, bake, practice yoga.... I keep a clean home and I will gladly do light housekeeping and gardening in your home while you are away

As your pet/house sitter you can expect Me to be:

Friendly / Dependable / Honest / Resourceful / Punctual and someone who will make caring for your pets and home my priority. I shall send you photos and messages from your pets daily keepping you in constant contact ; keep your home clean & tidy; water plants; collect mail; look after outdoor plants & garden and other tasks as agreed upon
