Hi! My name is Melanie, and I live in the Quadra/Finlayson area. I offer pet-sitting nearby within Greater Victoria. It is important to me that you and your pet both feel comfortable having me in your home. To ensure this, I am open to having a meet and greet before you book any pet sitting services.

I'm a life long animal lover, and have looked after dogs and cats for many years. I have had cats for most of my life and currently live with a 3 month old kitten named Rudi. My previous cat was adopted from the SPCA and was quite nervous around people. I gave her the space and time to get comfortable, and she eventually blossomed into the most loving cat. As a renter, I have not had the ability to have a dog for a while. I had a Golden Retriever years ago, and more recently have cared for friends dogs while they were away.

My goal is to provide a loving and relaxed environment for your pets and a worry-free experience for you while you're gone. I tailor my visits to each animals specific needs. This could mean snuggles, tons of playtime, on-leash walks around your neighbourhood (30 mins or more depending on the need) or all of the above. I'll also fill up water and food bowls, clean litter boxes, water plants, bring in mail and provide updates/send photos.
