About Kristi
Kitties Only! 😸
Hi there,
I’m Kristi, I am a cat sitter for the South Surrey/White Rock area. I’m sorry I don’t dog sit otherwise my cats would be traumatized. I live in Rosemary Heights in South Surrey, I’m a huge animal lover and own and have owned a variety of animals. Currently I have cats, a dog and a bunny. In the past I have also owned, a chameleon, hamsters, a turtle, rats, a degu, a guinea pig, and a cockatiel. I just can’t get enough. Besides my children they are my life!
I have lots of experience caring for animals, I board cats in my own home in a separate room and do drop in visits. I have great references if needed. I work full time as a letter carrier for Canada Post where I have for 23 years. Because of my particular shift I’m able to do both morning and evening visits with your kitties. My love for cats has also got me into fostering. I have been fostering cats for VOKRA (Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association) in my home for the past few years and I have fostered over 70 cats so far. It’s so rewarding but so hard to say goodbye, but for some I just couldn’t give up and ended up adopting. I also have fostered rabbits for Vancouver Rabbit Rescue which is how I ended up with my rabbit and I fostered two elderly bunnies, mother and daughter till they passed at 11 and 12 years old.
On top of all this, as I said, I can’t get enough and would absolutely love to take care of your fur babies and give them the best care while you are away. I know how hard it is to leave them but believe me they will be in the best of hands and I also do regular check ins with you to keep you updated.
I offer in-home visits but only within the South Surrey/White Rock area because of my very reasonable rates and with the price of gas it would not be beneficial for me to travel further, unfortunately. As for the visits I offer one or two half hour visits per day whichever you prefer. I also do boarding in my home. I have a room designated for your kitties to enjoy (two pics of the room located in the photos section) or if your cat is very social with other kitties it’s more then welcome to have the run of the house but not too many cats can easily adjust to that and prefer to have their own space, whichever your kitty prefers. Honestly most cats prefer to stay in their own home then to come to another home, even if you are away, it's just less stress for them. If you have other animals in the home that need caring for as well that can be discussed and is included in the price and so are things like watering plants or collecting the mail etc. So if you are looking for the best possible care for your kitties I’m your girl! 🐈
