I am 26 years old and live in a condo with my boyfriend. I love animals. I have always loved to have pets and hope to own my own dog daycare one day. I have taken care of as many as 6 dogs at one time.
I have two myself. One is a rescue from Taiwan, a Formosan Mountain Dog named Turbo. He was extremely scared when I first adopted him, only comfortable with me. Over the past few years he has become a completely different dog. Although he will always be a little hesitant to meet new people, he has come a long way.
The other is an adorable Boston Terrier named Bowser. He is hilarious and loves everyone.

Alyssa cared for my cats at my house. she replied to all my messages promptly and while we were away she sent us pics and updates which were fantastic and my cats loved her. we have a disabled cat that sometimes needs a bath and Alyssa dealt with this so well and I came home to very happy kitties

Over the years I have cared for my sister's, parent's, neighbour's, friend's and family's cats and dogs. Some have had some fairly serious health issues and I'm completely comfortable administering medication, tending to things like skin irritations, disabilities, etc.
I volunteer at the SPCA and am comfortable with timid, hyper and even aggressive dogs.
I take my dogs for a walk every day (we even have coats for the rain). We also love to go to the off leash dog park by our home in Pitt Meadows, and for hikes. Bowser is great off leash which frees up a spare hand to walk more dogs.
I am not a professional groomer and would not perform hair cuts, but I love to give dogs baths and get them squeaky clean!
