Hey there, my name is Jason. I lost my buddy "Princess Annabelle" (the French bulldog) right before the new year. My heart hasn't healed enough to find a new companion, but I have a lot of love left to give to YOUR furry friend that you care about - as much as I did mine...dog or cat :)
The constant company your loved one would get with me is paramount. I'm a home based business, keep a quiet house and would have an enormous amount of time to spend with your loved one, if you were to trust me with your precious pet. I absolutely love to have fun with dogs and can sleep in my room or even on my bed if you don't mind. Of course I love to play, cuddle and don't even mind being licked on the face - which a lot of my friends think is gross...Lol. I'm also very active and walk 30-50k a week - including a weekend walking group I manage (pic below) which some of the dogs I've taken care of have taken part in.
I also enjoy taking pictures of the pets that stay with me, which keeps you in touch so you don't miss them TOO much. To sum things up, the companionship your animal provides fill up my heart and home with love - and I'm very much looking forward to having that unconditional love back in my life again, and giving it right back :) even if just for a couple days.
Thank you so much to Jason for taking care of our very special big dudes. We were definitely nervous leaving them with someone we didn't know, but Jason was so great with the dogs and communication, that it put our minds at ease. The dogs were well taken care of, and Jason kept us up to date throughout their visit. Our two dogs have some special concerns/behaviours, counter-surfing, high energy, and senior requiring medication, and Jason managed it all very well. I think the dogs will miss Jason, until their next visit, and we so appreciate having someone we can trust with our furry family members!
Jason is in a convenient location and was able to take both our doodles overnight on a Sunday. It meant s lot that we knew they were in good care. Plus they got to meet a friend! Thanks for the photos Jason!
I have worked with shelters in the past and have a good understanding of dogs. I've had two dogs in my lifetime, one was from the humane society and the other was a rescue from a puppy mill bust (the pic posted) she was supposed to be a foster, but after the 2 months were up, I couldn't let that lil sucker go, Lol. She also inspired me to become an activist against puppy mills when I was working full time in radio. I had an annual BBQ to raise funds and awareness about puppy mills and help dogs link up with people who would provide forever homes for them. I'm a genuine, caring individual that loves animals. Not only did I talk the talk, but I walked the walk and helped provide homes for abused animals, but also raised awareness and close to 10 thousand dollars to the cause.
