I am Veronika; I recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience researching animal behavior (UofC). I'm taking an extended post-graduation break and work part-time from home. Therefore, I have a very flexible schedule allowing me to do what I love most - care for dogs and other animals. I can dog walk, drop-in, and pet sit (house sit) almost any time. I have owned dogs, cats, birds, and fish, and I worked with them in my studies for eight years.

I am (perhaps, overly) responsible and reliable. I will take care of your pets and your home as my own and would love to take your pets for a walk! I am comfortable with all species, ages, breeds, temperaments, and sizes.

I don't drive, and therefore prefer to work in Brentwood/ Charleswood/ Varsity and other NW areas of Calgary. But other locations are negotiable!

I'm new to Pawshake but not pet sitting. I have a lot of references available, some excerpts from them you can see below!

Dog walks on-leash dog walking service is tailored and customized for each dog depending on their needs, age and fitness level • the standard is a 30 min walk

If the rate of house sitting is too much for your budget (especially students and seniors), contact me, and we can agree on a price that is manageable for you! A combination of live-in and visits is also available. The number of days for each type of care is entirely customizable to your needs!

As a side note - I used to own a cleaning business and will be happy to provide pre-arrival house cleaning when I house sit, as agreed upon.
