Hello,

My name is Marc, I'm 54 years old, and I work in the non profit sector as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and have a degree in Child and Youth Care from Douglas College. I live in a cat-friendly apartment building on the 4th floor in New Westminster.

My space is approx 650 sq feet and I have a small patio with plastic netting against the railing to ensure safety. I would leave the sliding door closed if you felt more comfortable with that, should your pet stay in my home.

I am available to board your cat/s or other small animals. Unfortunately my building does not allow dogs. I will also stay at your home, if you'd prefer that, for your pet.

I'll make sure your cat or other animal is fed, watered and their bathroom needs are attended to. My home is quiet and calm, and your pet will feel safe and secure while you're away.

I lost my beloved cat Squeaky, in November 2018, and miss the company of a furry pal. I am not ready to have another pet at this time, so I want to devote my spare time to showering your furry pal with all the respect, love and care you do when you're away.

I had Squeaky for 16 of her 17.5 years and have grown up with cats, so I am very familiar with the idiosyncrasies of cats, but I am confident I can offer your rabbit, hamster, rat etc, the same care.

I know the feeling of leaving your baby with a stranger, as well as just being away from them, is always hard. I will send you daily pictures and updates to assure you, your loved one is being well taken care of. My philosophy is that animals are not so different than us, wanting the same basic things in life as we do.
