Hello!

I'm a 24-year-old American student from Buffalo, NY getting my graduate degree in Art History here in Montreal and hoping to meet plenty of new pets!

Now that classes are over for the summer, my schedule is free to take care of your pets whenever you need. I'm offering a 15% discount to first-time customers so that I can get started with my career here, since all my previous experience was back in America before I had the Pawshake app. I live right by McGill and love going for walks up Mont Royal and around Beaver Lake, which is a great place for dogs too!

I've owned my own cats for years but have loved visiting, playing with, and taking care of dogs owned by my friends and family. I spent my gap year dogsitting, both dropping by and living at the house with the dog, as well as catsitting while people were on vacation or busy with work. It's an honour to have a key to someones home and to be trusted to care for their animals, and I take this very seriously. I find genuine joy in spending time with the animals so it never feels like work at all. I act like a guest in the house but never to the pet, they are my new family member for as long as I am watching them!

I've taken care of cats with very specific feeding programs as well as dogs who have special needs (like my lazy friend Colonel Lafayette the Basset Hound in my pictures). I treat every animal exactly how they want to be treated, sometimes that is a lot of love and affection, but sometimes there are cats who like their distance! Whatever your animal needs, I'm happy to accommodate them.

For home visits, at least a 30 minutes, I obviously feed, water, and scoop cat litter, but I also stay around and spend some time with them, playing with their toys or just a little company if they're shy. For dog walks, at least a 30 minutes trip to their favourite sniff spots or wherever they lead is usual for me, but if they're older, of course, I can accommodate. Whatever your pet needs, I am happy to provide! I can also bring in the mail and water any plants.
