J'ai 28 ans et je suis présentement étudiante de quatrième année en technique de santé animale (TSA). J'ai de l'expérience principalement avec les chats et chiens. Pour ces derniers, je peux aider à l'entrainement grâce à la méthode du clicker, une méthode de renforcement positif. Cependant, je suis également à l'aise avec les animaux exotiques : lapins, cochons d'inde, reptiles, oiseaux et poissons. J'ai moi-même un chien, un chat, deux perruches, un dragon d'eau et beaucoup de poissons à la maison. Sinon, je garde les animaux d'autres personnes depuis maintenant plus de 5 ans et mon intérêt premier est le bien-être de tous les animaux!

Hi, my name is Catherine and I am 28 years old. I currently am in my fourth year of study to become a vet technician (TSA). I have experience mostly with cats and dogs. For the latter, I can offer a little bit of training using the clicker, a positive approach with no punishment. This being said, I also have experience with exotic animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, birds and fishes. I myself have a dog, a cat, two parakeets, a water dragon and many fishes at home. Otherwise, I now have more than 5 years of experience of taking care of other's pets and my number one priority is the well being of every pets!

Catherine est aller prendre soin de ma petite Kali petit bébé chiot de 9 semaines. Elle m'as envoyé des photos pendant qu'elle jouait avec elle et elle a été très patiente avec Kali qui mordille encore a cet âge ! J'en suis grandement satisfaite et nous avons deja réserver pour samedi prochain.
Ce fut la deuxième fois que Catherine est venue garder mes chats et comme la première fois , tout à été respecté à la lettre. Je recommande Catherine pour le gardiennage de vos poilus :)

J'étudie au collège Lionel-Groulx, j'y ai appris entre autre à faire des injections aux chiens, chats, reptiles, oiseaux et rongeurs. / I am studying at Lionel-Groulx college, I learned there, among other things, to make injections to dogs, cats, reptiles, birds and rodents.
J'ai appris à donner des médicaments aux chiens et aux chats. / I learned how to give medecine to dogs and cats.
J'ai appris comment reconnaître le language corporel des chats et des chiens et donc à juger et respecter leur humeur. / I learned how to read a cat or a dog's body language and how to react to it in order to respect their state of mind.
Je sais comment bien entretenir des animaux exotiques (reptiles, oiseaux, poissons et rongeurs), comment les manipuler en toute sécurité et comment juger de leur état de santé. / I learned how to properly take care of exotic pets (reptiles, birds, fishes and rodents), how to manipulate them safely and how to see if they are in good health.
J'ai eu un cours de comportement canin et ai donc une base (je ne suis pas professionnelle cependant!) sur comment traiter quelques problèmes de comportement. / I followed a class on dog behavior and learned how to react to and solve some minor behavior problems (careful, I am not a professionnal and cannot solve heavy behavioral problems!)
