Hello! I am a new resident in Montreal. I am currently pursuing my master's degree at McGill University.
I spent one year working in a cat cafe in the United States prior to moving to Montreal. At this particular cat cafe, all of the cats were rescued from high-euthanasia shelters or natural disasters and were up for adoption. We had a pretty high turnover rate, which meant I was able to take care of over 400 different cats! I definitely miss it, so I would love to have a chance to take care of some cats around the area.
I am able to feed, groom, play with, and administer necessary medicine to your cats. I am experienced with taking care of ill, elderly, and special-needs cats, particularly FIV+ cats. I can manage cats with behavioural issues (honestly, I really like the mean ones). I prefer taking care of cats over the age of 6 months.
Please note that I am unable to host your cats in my own home. This is because my own cat is living with feline herpes, which can be spread if a noninfected cat grooms/shares a litter box with/shares food with an infected cat. There should be no problems with me coming into your home to care for your cats as I take great care to clean myself before leaving my home and I do not bring any of my cat's items outside of my home. My cat is kind of mean to other cats, anyway, so it's probably for the best.
I can do 24-hour housesitting care at request. Please contact me and we can discuss it.
Please keep in mind that I am an anglophone. I am not able to communicate well in French.
Taylor is a caring sitter; stays in touch, sends photos of my kitty, and is very professional. My kitty was so adjusted and chilled out when I returned—I could tell she was well-tended to! Will definitely book with Taylor again! :)
Our cat was happy and healthy when we returned. What more could we ask for? =]
