Bonjour! My name is Leigh Anne and I am a U.S. college professor, homeowner, and

very experienced pet mommy for dogs, cats, horses, and fish. I am seeking an in-home house-sitting/pet-sitting situation.

Services I can provide as a live-in housesitter:

• care for cats in your home while you are away (feeding, grooming, giving attention, play therapy, giving oral or topical meds, litter box maintenance multiple times per day, any necessary care in case of emergencies)
• care for small dogs in your home while you are away (walking 2x per day, feeding, grooming, giving attention, play therapy, giving oral or topical meds, any necessary care in case of emergencies)
• care for the house while you are away (mail retrieval, dusting and cleaning, plant watering, garbage and recycling management, acting with appropriate initiative in case of any leaks or small maintenance issues)

In return, I would need sleeping quarters and to be able to use heat, wifi, and kitchen. Pet snuggles are always welcome!

About me:

My 3 beautiful cats are at my home in California right now with my loving husband while I travel and conduct research. I am in Montréal studying French and I am living in a homestay, but I really miss

living independently and having more quiet space to relax and study.

I also miss the company of animals and would love a pet-sitting situation if I can find it.

As a homeowner and pet mommy, I understand the importance of finding a caring, responsible person to look after the two most important things in your life: your home and the animal-babies in it! I am that person! I love dogs, cats, horses, fish, reptiles, and any creature who needs my love and care. I am clean, quiet, and respectfully careful with others' property.

Aside from being an animal lover, I am a writer and researcher (studying adult language learning). I also dance and play music. I am an avid traveler and very excited to be in one of my favorite countries to travel, Canada. I know the Yukon, B.C., and Alberta very well, and have traveled in Saskatchewan and Ontario as well. I was fortunate to get up to Gaspésie for the fall colors this year - wow!

I am really loving my time in Québec so far.

I am here until the end of January 2022 and I really hope I can help someone in Montréal feel secure that their home and pets are taken care of while they travel.
