I am an animal and nature lover.
I have had cats all my life so very comfortable around them.
I have also dog sat for my son and daughter in law when they go away and absolutely love it.
it is so therapeutic to be around animals.
They have 3 small dogs and I have 2 cats.
I have recently changed career paths after being laid off my corporate office job and have plans to go teach English abroad when the time is right.
In the meantime, I received news of the birth of my first grandchild at the end of October, so that has me staying put for a while.
Now I am looking for any opportunities to find work that is meaningful and rewarding.
I have had a variety of pets in the past, cats being the most consistent, but I have also had reptiles, fish and rodents so I don't have a problem with these types of animals.
I also did volunteer work in Costa Rica at a Wildlife Sanctuary where I was able to care for and feed wildlife.
It was an amazing experience and further deepened my love of animals.
I wasn't surprised when my Gus greeted Lynn with a head butt on her hand. However, the proof that Lynn is a cat lover was when my scaredy cat, Licorice stretched out and let her pat his head. Being 1st time pet sitter, Lynn impressed me with her questions about my cats' special needs and what I look for in a pet sitter. She clarified anything that she was unsure of. Your pets will be in good hands with Lynn.
I have worked at an Executive Assistant for the majority of my life and have a Bachelor of Management. After being laid off my corporate job, I took courses (TEFL and TESOL) to teach English abroad. I have done a lot of volunteer work which has required a clean background check.
