Throughout my childhood and adult life my wife and I have shared our homes with many dogs. Our last dog was a much loved companion and part of our family for 17 years.
At present I am running my own consultancy business from a home office.
My wife has worked from home for many years. As we missed having a dog around and in our current position, we thought that becoming a pet sitter would give us an opportunity to have a dog (or dogs) in the house again.
We usually only take one dog at a time, but have made exceptions to this if the dogs come from the same family.
On a stay with us your pet can run and play in the large fenced back yard throughout the day and evening, and will have company 24/7.
They will be taken on at least two long walks per day, (usually about an hour) and a short walk just before bed time.
We do not own or use kennels. If your dog uses a crate to sleep at night that is not a issue.
We want them to be relaxed and comfortable as they are part of the family when they visit.
Graham was wonderful with Peaches. She seemed to settle in nicely and loved her walks. Also, Graham noticed that Peaches was scratching at her ears and he proactively got Peaches to the vet, who confirmed an ear infection, and looked after administering the antibiotics. Things were all taken care of while we were away. I definitely feel comfortable leaving Peaches with Graham and will definitely be asking him to watch her again the next time we go away. Thank you Graham!
Although our dog can’t tell me what a wonderful time she had, I know that I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog with Graham and his wife. After meeting with them and listening to their approach to caring for the visiting pets, I was confident that my dog was in responsible and caring hands. I won’t hesitate to ask Graham to look after our dog again in the future.
Owned dogs our entire life. Dorte worked as a volunteer in a shelter kennel. We both work from home, therefore your pet will have 24/7 attention and care. We love to share a walk with dogs.
