Christina's furry clients.
Hi, I'm Christina!
Hi there, and thank you for reading my profile. I am a responsible and reliable person who loves all animals, big and small and feel this is a great way to care of other people’s pets that need some personal care and attention while they are away. I'd want my pet to feel like they never left their home so I'm pleased to offer a no cage like environment unless your pet requires it and is used to that. I live in a condo that allows animals up to roughly 45lbs (give or take) with a park at the end of the road, a dog park a few blocks away, and several trails around my area which I enjoy exploring with a dog in tow. I don't take puppies because I work during the day and don't feel it's right to leave a puppy too long. (With the exceptions of weekends) Please note that I work from Monday to Friday, and I'm away for approximately 8-9 hours but home late afternoons and weekends. I always follow up with my clients during and at the end of the booking to make sure that the owner is home (for cat visits) so your pet is not left alone, as emergencies can come up or your return may be delayed. Last minute extension bookings are welcome if needed! If your pet has special needs, not a problem. I'm familiar with giving medication both orally and by injection if required. I do reduce my rate on bookings that are over 14 days. UPDATE: I have just completed Dogsafe Canine First Aid 101 course September 24, 2017. An extra layer of comfort when leaving your pet with me. Due to limited options on this site, you may notice different rates from one booking to the next. A list of rates are listed below and I will be happy to modify them once you've requested a booking that suites your needs. I also offer cat boarding, cat visits and provide hourly rates for doggie daycare.
Home Dog Boarding $37/night Additional Pet $12
Home Cat Boarding $27/night Additional Pet $12
Doggie Daycare $20.00/day.
Cat Visits one time per day $18 Two times per day $30
II have just completed a Dogsafe Canine First Aid 101 course. Not only did I learn about first aid but also how to read a dogs body language which can be very helpful when bringing your dog for a walk or the dog park. I've always had a pet growing up and volunteer at the SPCA, so I'm pretty familiar with odd or difficult behaviour in animals.
I also foster with LEASH and may have another dog at the time of your booking. If your dog or cat doesn't not get along with other dogs, I can arrange for my foster dog to stay with family.
