Hi, I am Lukas from Germany. As a experienced Workaway traveler, I’ve had the chance to care for several homes and beloved pets - including dogs and cats - in Canada since June. It’s been an incredibly fulfilling experience so far, I have already worked with 10 workaway hosts, and each stay was a unique experience. From now on I’d love to expand my adventures through Pawshake this winter.

I take pride in being gentle, reliable, and tuned in to each animal’s unique personality. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, or keeping the house clean and cozy, I treat every place as if it were my own. I love creating a calm and loving environment for pets while their owners are away, and I’m always happy to help with extra tasks like watering plants or garden work.
In September, I spent an entire month volunteering at an animal farm sanctuary, where I learned a great deal about rescued animals and those with special needs. It was a deeply enriching experience that expanded my understanding of (blind) sheep, goats, horses, cats, dogs, piggies, chickens, roosters, turkeys, ducks, and geese. I care deeply about treating every animal with respect and love, and I always take time to understand their unique personalities and needs.

Please note: I prefer longer-term housesitting/petsitting due to limited travel flexibility (I don’t have a car), but I´m open to all inquiries.
