Hi! My name is Ally and I live in Kirkland in the West Island of Montreal. I am 28 years old and am in the process of finishing up my PhD in clinical psychology. I plan to work as a psychologist with teens and adults once I am done. My schedule is somewhat flexible given my work still being virtual due to the pandemic, so I am working primarily from home and am available in the evenings and weekends to help care for your pets.
I am a life-long animal lover and currently have 2 dogs. One is a Chihuahua and the other is a Mini American Eskimo. While I've personally owned dogs, birds, and rodents myself, my love for furry friends extends to all animals. I used to work part-time at Safari Pet Center for several years while I was in school so I have quite extensive experience caring for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and fish.
I am so looking forward to meeting your pets, playing with them and keeping them company during your time away. While I can't offer any form of boarding services at my house, I'm happy to help you take care of your animals and give them some extra love when needed. I think it's very important to spend time with all pets and keep them socialized, so I will spend at least 30 minutes with your pet for each visit and will definitely send you lots of photos (I know you miss them!). I will feed them, change their water and spend some time playing with them. I can also offer dog walking and would be happy to work on some training if needed (can put my psychology degree and therapy training to some good use!). I am also comfortable giving animals medication when necessary. I have a car, so I am able and willing to travel to your home. During my visit, I am also happy to bring in mail and water plants.
Feel free to send me any questions my way and I'd be more than happy to answer them and I am so looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
