I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals. From a young age I learned to respect and care for them - grooming, nail clipping, giving oral medications and just cuddling with them! I realize how animals truly are part of the family and they provide so much love and happiness to their owners. In my adulthood I have owned hamsters, cats and fish - our family currently owns 2 cats named Cleo and Chai. My daughter loves animals as much as I do and she spends a lot of time volunteering at Butterfield Acres.

I have been a volunteer dog walker with Cochrane Humane Society and I often pet sit for neighbours and friends. I really enjoy the opportunity to interact with other animals. I appreciate having dependable, trustworthy sitters for our own pets so I'd like to offer that to others. Since I don't have any family in Calgary, I appreciate knowing that our cats are well-loved by their sitters when we are away.

I'm a mother of two teenagers and I work part time as a church coordinator. I am fairly flexible with my availability and I am always up for a good walk or two with a furry friend. Unfortunately our cats don't love meeting other animals so I can't offer dog or cat care in our home but I am happy to do small animal pet visits in your home or dog care and dog walking.
