Loving and caring for animals. I was a dog walker in Guelph for two loving families and provided walks Monday- Friday for 1 year until I had to leave for a job. Owners would enthuse about how their fur babies appeared tuckered out after a walk and play time with me. I believe that exercise is key to a long living canine. I have experience taking care of and walking puppies, small, medium andlarge canines. I also avidly communicated with the owners any new or strange behaviours in order to ensure proper health of my furry friends. For one of my owners, we kept a notebook in the house that I wrote in daily, describing our walks and any issues I might have noticed or funny things that the dog did.
I also have experience in dog obedience training and received a first and third place ribbon with my canine friends at the University of Guelph's college royal dog show. I would be happy to work with your dogs on tricks and proper walking techniques.
I am also my family and friendsgo to pet sitter when they are leaving for vacations and am well referenced and trusted. I currently live with roommates, so I am unable to provide in-home care but can assure you that I am well trusted and have maintained the property of clients keys inthe pastand can provide references. You can expect me to send cute photos of your precious fur baby if requested and I have taken care of both dogs and cats. You can also expect me to clean the litter box, pick up waste and constantly keep your animal entertained and properly fed.
I enjoy caring for animals because I also receive benefits from stress relief, exercise and positive energy. I currently own a cat and had 3 dogs growing up. I am capable of providing grooming for both your cats (nails, brushing) and dogs (bathing, nails, brushing).

Experienced animal handling and care through full-time position at Pawsitively Pets for Kids. Responsible for feeding, cleaning enclsoures and grooming. I can easily provide baths, brushing and nail clipping for both cats, dogs, rabbits, guniea pigs, reptiles and small parrots/birds.
- Volunteered during my second and third year of University to participate as a dog handler during College Royal. The program involved attending 8 weeks of obedience classes and being paired with an individual dog from the Guelph community in order to train and show case their hard work at the dog show. I received a 3rd and 1st place ribbon in the two years I participated, along with my hard working dogs. Results were based on skill, team-work, performance and attitude.
- Also volunteered at Mountsburg Raptor centre, where I did animal husbandry for their bird of prey enclosures. Staff had high expectations for cleaning and I proved my attention to detail by following instructions impecably.
