Happily providing undivided attention and love to your furry loved ones. Engaging and interacting with animals is very fulfilling. I enjoy getting to know your furry loves and pay attention to their likes and dislikes. I embrace their quirks and characteristics while balancing healthy boundaries of their specified lifestyle. I've worked with many rescue dogs and I am very open minded to the traumas that they may have experienced. I have worked with pups that suffer from anxieties and I make sure my home is a comfortable environment that is safe and a neutral space for our furry loves.
I am originally from B.C on the West Coast. Growing up, I was surrounded by, and was responsible for our animals on our farm. Cats, dogs, sheep, and horses. Awareness, safety, practical knowledge of specific animals, training, and preparation were all key components to ensuring happy healthy productive lives for our family and animals. I have experience with administering medication and feel fully confident with providing for your pups daily medical needs. I am trustworthy, reliable, and a happy worker in whatever the weather forecast holds. Rain, shine, snow, our furry buddies need exercise.
The feeling of home for your pet is what I strive for. I only take a few dogs on at a time to ensure everyone gets the love and attention they deserve. My partner and I live upstairs and our housemate has the basement area. We are all friends and the dynamics of our household is really lovely. We are all animal lovers! Our communication is very consistent throughout our household. For example, we are all very accountable with making sure all gates and doors are closed and all of us hold the safety of the animals that stay with us in high priority. We have a toddler gate blocking off access to front door and to the basement.
Your pup has the whole main floor to make themselves at home and they have full access to our fenced in spacious backyard. Your pup is always welcome to come join us on the couch and cuddle up. They also are welcome onto the bed. But please communicate their specified life style and preferred training and I will do my absolute best to follow your preferred guidelines. At night we love a furry cuddle buddy, or if they prefer their own space we have a doggie bed for them to sleep on for the evening. I prefer having your pup sleep in our room at night for peace of mind and inclusion. Again, it's so important that your dog feels at home while you're away.
My partner works from home, so if I ever need to step out during the day (for example to go walk another clients dog) he is home and able to provide the attention that is needed while I am away. We have a quiet spacious back yard that is fully fenced. We like to give your furry loves full access to the back yard, but we always keep an eye on them. As I mentioned, the most number of dogs we take at one time is three, but that is on a rare occasion. We like to keep the amount of pups that stay with us at a low number so we are able to give the love and attention that is needed equally. We also cater to dogs that have trouble socializing. If you book far enough in advance we will definitely do our best to accommodate and make sure we do not book any other doggie clients during that time.
I am looking to expand and strengthen my experience within the animal sitting/walking/training industry as a profession. I plan on creating my own business and continue to uphold and build my reputation as a great animal sitter. I would be honoured to have you and your furry children be part of this journey.
Looking forward to hearing from you :) Patricia
Our dog was calm and centered when we collected her after her stay with Patricia. This is how I know all her needs were met and above all, that she enjoyed her time there. This is not always the case with dog boarding. Highly recommend her boarding services.
Patricia was so kind and sweet with Honey! She sent lots of cute pictures, and it was obvious that she's just totally cut out to care for pets. I have already booked Honey into stay again, and would highly recommend. She even let Honey sleep in bed with her, and has a backyard that I'm sure any dog will love.
