Hello pet parents!

My name is Iulia and I have 30+ years of experience looking after cats and dogs. I've had cats and dogs (and other small animals) all my life. I now have two lovely indoor Persian cats. Before them, I had another wonderful Persian cat who was my best friend for 17.5 years. We travelled to several countries together due to my work, and we experienced many adventures. He probably didn't like the travel as much as I did, but we were an item so I couldn't leave him behind. Before him, I had quite a few other cats and dogs, a rabbit, and whatever other animals and birds I randomly rescued (including a pheasant someone had shot that we took in and looked after for years as she couldn't fly anymore). As you can tell, I love animals!

I am available for 1 house visit daily to look after your furry BFFs. We can start with a meet and greet so we all get to know each other. Once booked, house visits are a minimum of 30 minutes and I do my best to stay longer if time permits. I have experience with all cat ages, from kittens to seniors.

PLEASE NOTE THE AREAS I COVER

At the moment, I am offering my services in the Mount Pleasant area and occasionally Olympic Village. I don’t have a car and I prefer to walk to the pets’ homes, limiting my time on transit.

Having had pets all my life, and especially after moving to several countries and not knowing anyone, I know how difficult it can be to find a good pet sitter. Leaving my pets at home while I travel is by far one of the most stressful experiences for me. So I know what it’s like to be in your shoes. I have used pet sitters many times and I want to give back and provide this service and peace of mind to others. Travel these days is stressful enough without you having to also worry about your kitties.

During home visits, I will:

- feed your cats and change their water

- clean out litter

- play with them

- groom them as needed (brush their hair, clean their eyes, etc.)

- administer oral medications if required

- water any plants you have

- bring in the mail if needed

I will also send you photos daily so you know your furry babies are in good hands and you can enjoy your travel without worrying about them. 

Your house/apartment will be locked up and secured after each visit, and your keys will be returned to you at the end of the booking.
