Hello! I am a cat and exotic pet sitter located in South Edmonton. I currently work as a cat kennel caretaker and shelter volunteer. I also have past experience as a veterinary assistant. I began pet sitting in Edmonton after returning from England in 2016. In the UK I was working and studying with Medivet as a student veterinary nurse in a 24 hour emergency hospital. The favorite of all my tasks was being assigned ward nurse duties. This meant caring for all of our boarding patients in the hospital, giving meds, monitoring, nursing care, feeding, cleaning, etc. I found the skills I gained there gave me the upper hand to offer `extra care pet sitting` for some of the needier pets here in Edmonton that an average pet sitter might not have the training and skill set for. I understand that cats in particular feel most comfortable in their familiar surroundings which is why i offer my services in your home with daily visitations. I may be able to offer care for your exotics from my home with their cage or vivarium provided. I will take the extra attention and care to familarize myself with your pets' individual needs and personality to keep them content and happy as they can be while you are away:) I am able to administer all routes of prescribed medication and provide nursing care if needed. During my visits I will keep you posted on your loved ones with updates and photos, so no stress while you are away! References are available at your request. Note: My home visits are 45 mins duration.
