Hi Pawshake community!

My name is Léa, I am a French girl currently studying Sales & Marketing here in Toronto. I love to walk by myself whenever I have free time, and I always meet dogs that I end up petting. while these walks. I was wondering why I could not have a dog by my side while I walk. I heard of Pawshake and I thought this was the best solution whether for me and for your dog to enjoy our walk together !! :)

I've always had dogs as far as I can remember, and I loved them with all my heart. I have had Beauceron, German Sheperd, Labrador, Cane Corso and mixed dogs (we have a big dog family haha) so I know that I can handle medium/big dogs. They all had their temperament : calm, player, stubborn, full of energy, lazy... Every kinf of personnality that I like to discover. That is why I want to be a pet sitter.

I used to keep my friend's Australian Sheperd and Spitz at my home in France, so I guess that I could say that is is a previous experience. I can add that I used to walk my cousin's American Staff. Back in France to my father's, we have one Cane Corso named Lasko, and two Labradors names Derick and Pachka. My ancient roommate and I adopted a mixed dog named Pinceau in a refuge. We already knew at that time that I would move out to Canada for a year and agreed for it, I still participate for the vet fees, and I call them at least once a month haha.

I deeply wish that I could welcome pets in my home but unfortunately, as long as I live in a student housing, pets are not allowed in...

- About my services :

I agreed to offer dog walking and home visits.

I can pick up and drop off your dog in the Toronto area. I want you to know that I am a pedestrian, and I can come by TTC Subway, Streetcar, or Buses. I can be very flexible, I just need to be sure that I can do it in time as long as I have no car myself.

While I will walk your dog, I can talk to it, train it, run with it... I can adapt myself depending on the age of the dog, its energy, and its needs.

Regarding the home visits, I can administer medications to your animals, pet them, groom them, train them, and talk to them. I will feed them if you require it, I want to take good care of them. I can also water your plants and bring in the mail if you require it.

- How long will I stay with pets during home visits?

When I will visit your pets, it will be a minimum duration of 1h00 up to 3h00-4h00 depending on the needs of the pet. I can be flexible, but I will need to know in advance to calculate the different settings such as transport duration between my home, your home, my school...

- How long are my dogs walks?

I will walk your dog for a minimum duration of 30 minutes and can go up to 1h30-2h00 depending on the dog's needs and your requirements.

- When am I usually available ?

I will be mostly available in morning, or in afternoon. My classes are on evening so I will not be able to walk or visit your pets. It also depends on my job. My schedule is not fixed, but don't worry about it, I will update my calendar as soon as I will know my job's schedules ! 

I am engaged to do my best to take care oy your pets as well as you would do it yourself. I will send you pictures of our walks, or our visits. I can assure you that they will feel loved ! :)
