Hi!
I am Clara, a 21 year old student at the University of Ottawa.
About my services: I propose to take care of your animals (cats or dogs, big or little) during the day and night with an increased surveillance in a calm home with no other animals. If needed, I can administer oral medication. I can take 2 pets at a time (1 preferably but if you need help with 2 i’ll adapt) from one household but I will not risk putting your pet with another from another household if you feel this is not possible. Regarding walks, I live in an apartment but there is a dog park 2 minutes away from my home so the frequency of walks will be adapted to your pet's needs. When I take care of a pet, I commit to be by his side 24/7 and if I have to go away in emergency, I have a roommate who will be happy to take care of your pet until I come back! My apartment is not very big but your pet will have access to all the rooms (the bed and the couch will be forbidden if you decide but I don't mind :)). As a student, i have several courses during the week so we can discuss the availabilities together before we start.
About me: I grew up surrounded by animals, at home in France I have 5 dogs, 3 cats, chickens, turtles...
I have also been part of an association for animal protection so I had the opportunity to bottle kittens, educate puppies, health care for cats, dogs (young and old), work on the socialisation part, etc...
I also have my own dog who has stayed in France for the moment and whom I love and take everywhere with me. So until mine comes back, I would be absolutely delighted to take care of your little protégés!
I will treat your pet as if it were my own, which includes: playing, walking, cuddling, positive education, and anything else your pet needs I am very open to your requirements and advice regarding your pet, feel free to tell me anything about its character and behavior, I will adapt without any problem. I can also send pictures at any moment of the day.

Oreo was so well taken care of at Clara's. She was very gracious in managing his puppy behavior. Communication was great and I received lots of photos! Would definitely recommend her!
Clara took really good care of our dog Juno while we were away! She is flexible and has high attention to details. She followed all our recommendations to take care of our dog to the letter. We have a tripod who recently got injured and Clara adapted her care to her and was able to give her her medicine. She also communicated very well and sent us regular pictures. She is highly reliable and has extensive experience with dogs. We completely recommend her!
