🐾Hi!

My name is Mariel (32) , I am an international student from Mexico currently on my fist year of an AA degree in University Canada West. Living in Vancouver is a huge change from my life in Mexico City but I love living in the West End because there are so many pets to get to know.

Since I was little my family kept pets around the house: a huge golden retriever, some cats, a bunny, goldfish, and a chinchilla. I've had more recent experiences with cats, and dogs in different farms while working along the pacific north west (Weimaraner, Boxer, Akita, Pittbull, Wolf dog, German Shepard, and mastiff ).I also am used to babysitting my friends dogs and cats.

I offer my service in West End, Yaletown, Downtown, and Davie Village; I sometimes visit on Kits and Fairview. For twice a day visits only within the West End(or general downtown for weekends).

I prefer doing a first meeting in person to establish secure bond and talk about the pets personality.

Dog Walking Services:

(Wednesday- Monday from 9.30 am to 5pm)

I am happy to meet your dog at your house and go for a walk. It would last from 25 minutes to 1 hour** depending on your pets needs. I’ll take a picture during the walk for your pet album :)

( I walk dogs individually unless they are used to walking together)

** Extra charges may be added for longer walks.

Home visits (30 min+):

(Wednesday- Monday from 9.30 am to 5pm)

My objective when visiting a pet is to satisfy any physical need they have (food, water, meds), walk, exercise and play; help them de-stress, and offer them my companionship, and attention (unless they are uncomfortable with me being there, in that case I move quickly and leave right away). I am comfortable with cleaning messes, I also take pictures, and reports for you to see what your little friend is up to.

If you need a second check up during the day or in the evening let me know!

House sitting (24 hour care):

(Thursday to Monday)

I would be going into your house and spending most of the day there, I would serve food, water, play and exercise. I may leave for some hours to run some errands I would return to spend the night with your pet/s. I don’t mind watering plants and picking up messes. I will take pictures and keep you updated.

Special requests (medication or behavior issues): please leave supplies in a visible area and give me a copy of all instructions in writing.

I'm a proud companion of two rescue dogs, one currently living with me in Vancouver and the other one in Mexico City.

I would love to meet your pet and hangout or take them for a walk.
