My name is Cait, and I have extensive experience in pet care, having had a variety of pets since my young childhood. I have worked very briefly in a doggy daycare and do feel comfortable watching multiple animals at once.

I live in an apartment with a roommate and cannot pet sit at my residence. I'm located in downtown Calgary and take transit, I do not have a driver's license.

I have a full time job and will be out of the house for upwards of 9 hours a day depending on where you are located and what transit is like.

My own pets over the years have been multiple guinea pigs, degus, gerbils, fish, cats, and two large breed dogs. Currently I have a millipede, her name is Todd. Her care does not impede my ability to pet sit for you. I love all animals, and animals usually like me as well, but I tend to have a very good connection with cats in particular.

I'm happy to care for animals that have special needs, and I have experience administering oral medications to dogs. I have not had the experience of administering injections to animals, but I do have experience with a diabetic relative and am confident that I can manage your pets’ needs.

I also have experience with senior animals, reactive dogs, and juvenile animals. I have very limited dog training skills and feel comfortable handling a dog that may not yet be fully trained but only needs some reinforcement of existing training.

Most of my pet sitting has been for family and friends, but I was a pet sitter on Pawshake a few years ago and I have done petsitting for clients through it.

In regard to dog walking, my day job doesn't schedule the same days off every week, and I work a variety of shifts from mornings to evenings, so while I can offer occasional dog walking, I am not ideal if you need a consistent, regular dog walker.
