Hi! My name is Fernanda. I’m originally from Chile, and my little dog Millie and I first moved to Montreal before settling in Calgary, where we’ve been living happily for the past few months.

My biggest motivation for becoming a pet sitter is simple: I truly love animals. Millie and I enjoy having the company of other dogs, and she especially loves having a playmate around. I also understand how important and emotionally difficult it can be for pet owners to leave their pets behind when traveling or being away from home as they are family, and we always want them to be safe, loved, and well cared for. For me, it’s essential to give owners the peace of mind of knowing that their furry loved ones will be in a secure, caring, and affectionate environment. My priority is to make every dog feel just as loved, protected, and comfortable as they do with you, helping reduce stress, loneliness, and how much they miss their family.

I have experience caring for friends’ pets during their travels, and I’ve been lovingly looking after Millie for over 7 years. Because of this, I’m familiar with a wide range of personalities and needs, from energetic pups who love playtime to more shy or sensitive dogs who need a little extra patience and comfort.

I am working from home so I am always going to be around and making them company. During their stay, your pet will enjoy:

My apartment is fully pet-friendly, and I make sure it’s set up safely; secure doors, no hazards, and a calm environment where pets can settle in comfortably. I’m very attentive, and visiting dogs are never left unsupervised for long periods.

For the safety of both Millie and your pet, I only accept dogs who are vaccinated.
