Hello! My name is Maria and I am a graduate student here in Calgary. While I am new to the area, I have several years worth of extensive pet-sitting experience. My experience is broad, as I have cared for many different types of animals. This includes cats (I have two lovable trouble-makers of my own) as well as dogs. Specifically, I have done long-term care for both large and small dog breeds and understand the needs of both. Some breeds that I am best acquainted with include the Australian Cattle Dog, Belgian Malinois, Pomeranian, Pitbull Terrier, and Yorkshire Terrier. As such, I am well-acquainted with a variety of different temperaments and energy-levels. My visits will be catered to you and your pet's needs, such as specific feeding, exercise, grooming, play, or other care needs. My schedule is flexible and can include morning, afternoon and evening visits. I guarantee at least an hour per each home visit and will send updates, pictures, and videos of your pet each day. Each of my home visits will include feeding and watering, exercise and play, walking, litter-box cleaning, grooming and any other needs your pet may have. For dogs, I offer walks of at least 30 minutes per visit. Or, I am also happy to provide in-home excercise for your pets. For house-sitting services, I offer 24 hour house-sitting and will perform essenstial duties such as bringing in mail, watering plants, basic cleaning, etc. After my visits I always ensure that your residence is completely locked and secured upon my exit. Some of my particular experience with pets includes administering medication, grooming, being attentive to certain behaviors, dealing with multiple pet households, and helping pets with anxiety.

Finally, I have experience with a wide variety of other pets, including salt and freshwater fish, rabbits, chameleons, bearded dragons, frogs, tortoises, chinchillas, sugar gliders, and even axolotls. If you have small or exotic pets, I can provide specialized care for them.

As a pet owner and animal lover myself, I know all too well the worry that comes with leaving your pet. As such, I aim to provide you with a service that will give you peace of mind knowing that your pet is receiving the best care possible while you are away!
