Hello!
My name is Laura and I am a 28 year-old Nursing student at McMaster University. When I was growing up, I always wanted to become a vet, however,my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences and Master's degree in Medical Science eventually led to my pursuit of a career in Nursing. During this time, I gained a great deal of experience through volunteering and a large and small animal Veterinary Clinic for over 4 years in my 20's. My love for animals is at the root of everything I do, and although my career path has taken a different route, I still have a passion for animals and ensuring they receive appropriate care.
In addition to my educational background, I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. I also recently became a fur auntie to 2 Shih-Poo mixes and a couple of domestic shorthair cats. I have a black lab x shepherd mix myself as well as two adorable kitties. All of my pets are rescues, and I am committed to providing them with
wonderful life for the duration of their time with us!

I understand that trusting your pets with someone while you are aware is no easy task. I ensure that in my care for your pets, they will receive lots of TLC, timely visits and lots of snuggles! Visits and walks are at least 30
minutes
(ie. visit + walk = 30 minutes, visit alone = 15 minutes, walk alone = 15 minutes). I will also bring in any mail you receive and provide an overall check of your home while you are away. You can guarantee at least one update on your pet(s) and home per day, as I want to ensure peace of mind while you are away from them!
