Hello! I'm Rob, and my world pretty much revolves around dogs. My own pups are my heart, and every day I work to give them a life that's safe, healthy, and full of joy. That passion is what drives my dream: to create my own daycare and boarding haven where I can offer that same heartfelt care to your furry family members.

My goal is to take everything I've learned over thirty-five years of loving and living with dogs to build the warm, home-style environment I've always imagined. A key part of that is believing in the power of a good, playful workout. I've found that plenty of exercise—through group walks, adventurous playtime, and engaging sniff sessions—is the best way for a pup to release their energy. This means they can truly relax and feel calm, happy, and settled during indoor rest periods. I want every dog who stays with me to feel like they're on a fun vacation—a place that's peaceful, secure, and bursting with happiness. I’m a firm believer in kind, modern, science-based methods, which is how I raise my own dogs and care for every guest.

I truly believe that every dog deserves patient, understanding guidance to navigate our world. Just like people, every dog is a unique individual. A shy pup needs a different approach than an over-enthusiastic one. I love helping the timid ones gain confidence and blossom, while also gently teaching the excitable friends how to channel their energy and play safely. My experience in reading canine body language allows me to ensure everyone has a great, safe time together.

More than just a place to stay, my daily mission is to make sure each dog's mind and body are fully engaged. I do this by letting them safely be dogs! That means plenty of opportunities to follow their noses, chew, dig in a sandbox, forage for treats, and of course, run and play to their heart's content. I’m passionate about creative canine enrichment and take pride in tailoring each day to your dog's needs. They'll go home happily tired and fulfilled. (And don’t worry—plenty of cozy nap times are built into the day, because everyone needs a good snooze!)

My connection with animals runs deep, with thirty-five years of hands-on experience caring for a wonderfully diverse family of creatures. From puppies and kittens to parrots, birds of prey, reptiles, and farm animals—and even managing environments from large freshwater habitats to intricate saltwater reef systems—this lifelong journey has given me a profound appreciation for the unique language, needs, and spirit of all living beings. This commitment extends into wildlife rescue; helping an animal in need, from coyotes and raccoons to injured raptors, will always be a priority. This instinct to protect and rehabilitate informs everything I do, ensuring that the care I provide is grounded in vigilance, profound respect, and a calm capability in any situation.
