I have been a Volunteer Walker at the Montreal SPCA since April 2025. Every week, I provide several hours to walking all the dogs at the shelter. I also help train them so they can be ready for adoption with their furever family! 

Caring for animals has always felt natural to me, and becoming a pet caretaker allows me to turn that passion into something meaningful every day. I’m motivated by the joy of giving pets a safe, loving, and stimulating experience while their owners are away. Whether it’s a structured neighborhood walk, a longer adventure trail for high‑energy dogs, or a gentle sniff‑walk for seniors, I tailor each outing to the pet’s needs and personality. During home visits or sleepovers, I follow each pet’s familiar routines — from feeding rituals and medication schedules to bedtime comforts like brushing, cuddles, or quiet companionship.

My experience in dog walking, pet sitting, and volunteering has taught me how to adapt to all kinds of temperaments, from shy or anxious pets to playful, energetic companions. I stay attentive to safety at all times, keeping a close eye on weather conditions, monitoring for signs of stress, and knowing how to respond calmly in unexpected situations. What motivates me most is the trust that grows between me, the pets I care for, and the people who love them. Providing reliable, compassionate care isn’t just a service for me — it’s a commitment to creating comfort, joy, and peace of mind for every family I support.
