Gioia (2011-2020) left me for the rainbow bridge too early. đ˘ Gioia came into my life at 6 months of age when she was my foster kitty from the SPCA. She had been found lying in the middle of a street by a good samaritan that took her to the SPCA. Her nose was crushed and bleeding. They believe she had been thrown out of a moving car or was struck by a car. She required urgent medical attention, and so I took her home in my care to foster for 6 weeks. When it was time to return her, I just could not part with her because I loved her! I named her Gioia (joy in Italian) as she was such a joy to have around; such an easy kitty that emanated nothing but love & joy. Never hissed, absolutely no malice, and just loved to snuggle & cuddle, and loved people and all other kittys. In April 2020, she suddenly got very sick and was diagnosed with blood cancer. She was gone too fast and too soon. đ
