 Our days usually start with a nice walk along a nearby trail so the dogs can get fresh air, explore, and burn off some energy. After that, we keep things calm with proper nap time and downtime so everyone can relax and recharge. I stick to a balanced routine of walks, play, meals, and rest, adjusting to each dog’s needs. One thing that makes my care a bit different is that I don’t rush the day — I pay attention to what each dog is telling me and keep things low-stress, structured, and comfortable.

Hello I'm Marwa, but you can call me Mars! I've always had pets my whole life, I love all animals but I'm definitely a cat person  I can watch cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters and other small animals, some fish, and birds (currently unavailable to watch reptiles and snakes although I love both!)I have two wonderful cats named Allan and Artemis who I adore immensely. Before them, I had Biscuit my Siamese boy for 15 years (my little soulmate) and Patrick my chinchilla who was 16, but I was lucky to have him in my life for 6 of those years (my little buddy!).&nbsp;
I worked in the pet industry for 3 years, 2 of those as a store manager with Pet Valu. I have experience in caring for anything from a gaggle of kittens to a guinea pigs! I'm passionate about pet care and I even used to facilitate pet adoption events when I was working there. I currently work at Pearson Airport full time so my hours are all over the map, but I can move my schedule around on a weekly basis. I just got married to my husband in Sept 2023 so we are saving up to go in a honeymoon in 2024! Watching your adorable furbabies while making some extra savings for our honeymoon is a huge bonus.With my experience, I am most comfortable with cats, small dogs, and small animals.We live in a quiet and relaxing household which would make for an excellent vacation for your pets while you are away! For dogs (and cats who enjoy walks) we have a spacious yard to play in. During a stay with us you can expect 2-3 walks a day, and play time in the yard. We can set up a complimentary home visit with your pet to come see our space and how everyone gets along before booking. There is always someone home (myself or my husband, Stephen) to take care of your loved one so they will be in good hands with us 
We are a small private pet service, while your pet is at our home we will treat them as part of the family! We only accept 1 pet for boarding at a time (unless they are from the same household). Long terms stays of 2+ weeks may be subject to an extra fee. I have LIMITED availability for the winter, even if the dates are blocked off feel free to inquire.

My Mom's family dog, a white Spitz, watched over me when I was born. Since this christening, I have grown up with dogs for a major part of my life and been comfortable around them, and these experiences have taught me and moulded me into a pet-appreciative person and a creature-friendly human. It was quite a task for my parents to keep my sisters and me away from stray pups, but I guess we were motivated enough to find a way to sneak them in.Animals do teach us a lot in their own ways, and with a bit of my parents' wisdom, I have grown to be more understanding, observant, respectful and appreciative of the little, and big, creatures.I have trained two dogs myself - a Doberman Pinscher and a Dalmatian, and owned and cared for a baby Olive Ridley Turtle I found on a pavement once. They have always felt at ease being around me. I had trained our family Dalmatian well enough that he had excellent recall and obedience training. The results have motivated me to continue working with pets. It is a challenging job training and caring for pets, but with patience and determination for fuel, one can rack up an impressive mileage with happy paws and tails in the backseat.
